The Manthan award south Asia 2008 was held in New Delhi on 16th, 17th and 18th October.

Various eminent speakers gave their presentations of their innovations across topics like health, e-business, Rural enterprise, Culture & entertainment, mobile content, community radio, education & learning, governance and environment & science. The Manthan award ceremony function was planned to bring the most important innovators, strategists, planners and executors from all kind of sectors like government, policy, civil society/NGOs, public representatives, international agencies and funding organizations.

The parallel session included stalls by various agencies which displayed their products.

The Micro Associates displayed its various products ranging from GIS products, Security products and web-gis services. There were online demonstrations of web-gis services.
